Ellipsism: (el-lip-sis-m) sadness that you'll never be able to know how history turned out.
We're all going to leave behind something. Future generations will see those things, but we will never know in what way. Will they look upon their ancestors fondly, trying to imagine what our world used to look like? Or will they curse at us, silently telling us off for ruining the planet? I've always imagined the future as it appears in the movies, with skyscrapers everywhere and robots at our service. This word represents the feeling of sadness that one gets when they think about the part of the future that they might never see.
Stay Curious ;)
